Abigail Thomas DACM, LAc is a Doctor of Acupuncture and a New York State licensed Acupuncturist. She is nationally board certified (NCCAOM) in Oriental Medicine. She holds a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (2019), a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (2006), a certification in Massage Therapy and Natural Therapeutics from the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics (1998) and a Bachelor of Science from SUNY Oneonta (1996).
Abigail offers two decades of experience in rehabilitation and management of chronic pain. Other areas of specialization include the use of acupuncture and herbs for the management of chronic conditions including respiratory, digestive and stress related health problems. She also has a special interest in women’s health care, including fertility and menopause.
Abigail specializes in acupuncture and wellness consultation.
Abigail has completed numerous post-graduate programs in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine including the Graduate Mentorship Program at the White Pine Institute of Chinese Medicine (2009.) She completed an internship at the Zhejiang Traditional Chinese Medical University Hospital in Hangzhou, China (2006.) She has been a field editor for the American Acupuncturist and Meridians TCM journals.
